They say that it takes a tobacco smoker an average of 6-7 tries before they are able to quit smoking. The same is true for trying to quit unhealthy eating habits.
So, if you’ve tried to make lasting changes and not gotten the results you want—KEEP TRYING! You’re getting closer and closer each time.
In fact, I believe that the number of tries is even more when it comes to dietary changes. Why? Because, unlike smoking, eating is something everyone NEEDS to do every day, throughout the day.
You didn’t gain weight or develop symptoms and dis-ease overnight. You’re not going to reverse these conditions or the diet and lifestyle habits that caused them overnight either.
Developing a healthier eating LIFESTYLE and healing your body is a process not an event. For most, it requires incremental steps over time.
