THE SUGAR BEAST: How & Why You Want to Conquer It! ~ Part I

We have become a nation of sugar-aholics and the consequences of this addiction are only just beginning to be seen. Type 2 DIABETES, formerly known as adult-onset diabetes because it rarely struck those under 50, is now in EPIDEMIC proportions among both adults and CHILDREN.

Other conditions and dis-eases associated with excess sugar and junk-food consumption are also skyrocketing, including asthma, heart disease, obesity, cancer, osteoporosis, candida (fungal infections), PMS/menopausal symptoms, and more.

It’s been said that if white refined sugar were put before the FDA today it would not be approved. Unfortunately, white refined sugar and other refined sugars are a multi-billion dollar industry that isn’t going away any time soon. Refined sugars are found in just about every processed food today.

~ processed sweeteners…such as white refined sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, etc.

~ concentrated natural sweeteners…such as honey, maple syrup, fruit juice, etc.

~ white refined flour products…such as white pasta, bread, crackers, etc.

~ all alcoholic beverages…including beer, wine and hard liquor.
